   Soviet Union did liberate Europe in pretext of denazification. In reality the Soviets do occupy Eastern Europe as a buffer states so aggression from the Western half of Europe and across the Atlantic. Also with the ideological purpose of spreading communism. Russia has an instinct of protecting herself as proven in history. Russia has been invaded from the West three times. First by Napoleon’s French Empire in 1812, Second is by the German Empire in WW1 1917. And finally in 1941 by Nazi Germany’s Operation Barbarossa which utterly failed. Now communism ended in Russia. Russia now defend herself in all possible means and the West sees it as an aggression. True the West might be a threat at times but Russia should instead protect herself in her giant neighbour in the east which is, the China.
