   A tattoo is a statement. Each person must choose to make statements by word, art, or example. Your statement is clear that you dislike the art of the tattoo. I on the other hand, find the work sexy, and applaude the decision of the model.

    Bee Keeper, tattoos aren’t statements. In primitive times they were statements that defined ownership, belonging or recorded events. However, we’re in the 21st Century and the ink used is linked to any number of health conditions. The real problem is when you see a girl with tattoos, you make an assumption about her virtue or lack there of. This girl has destroyed an incredible body with tattoos and piercings. It’s like when I lived in Kensington and every summer the clueless Arabs would turn up. They’d import their super cars and hyper cars which they’d have customised….brand new gorgeous cars ruined by some fucking clueless moron….e.g. gold foil wrap with pink and green striped leather interior, and chrome wheels…..says it all really. “All the gear and no idea” as we say.

    Anonymous, you obviously are ignorant of the history of tattoos. ancient warriors used them to show victory in battle. Tattoos were used to tell the life stories of the person (both men and women…..see Vikings)
    it is sad though that the tattoo was also used to mark people for slavery and death (see Jews of WW2). While some work may seem unorganized, the person wanting the art is making a statement (even if it is that they want to be trailer trash), and some tattoo artist lack the skill to do good work. If you choose to have tattoo work done, always check that the artist has the skills to complete the work to your approval. A bad tattoo is hard to cover up.
